I started life as a professional sports photographer in 1995 when I joined a sports picture library called Action Plus as a staff photographer. I spent over ten years at this agency and during this time covered thousands of sporting events.
From Olympic Games in Japan and Greece to the Football World Cup in 2002 and 2006.
I enjoyed some of the quirkier events too, like toe-wrestling and cheese rolling.
All these experiences were amazing, but nothing beats the thrill of being just behind the running rails at Aintree, as forty horses running the Grand National thunder past.
These days I work on a freelance basis for a number of UK agencies concentrating mainly on football.
